  2. “Save Rhino Save Assam”, is my appeal to the
public to save the animal. We have lost a number
of rhinos to poaching in different parts of the state.
I hope that those who engage in poaching will
reform themselves and instead fight to save the
animal. Today, we also want to highlight the need
    to conserve nature…

  5. The Rhinoceros are the beauty of Assam, as they have a horn. I feel glad to live in Assam. There are many Rhinoceros around us but every day at least a single Rhinoceros decreases from the population of Rhinoceros. Rhinoceros should be saved because it is the beauty of India, as it is not available to get this type of Rhinoceros in any other places. In fact, Rhinoceros is not available in all parts of India. It is only found in the North-east part of India. So, we should save Rhinoceros as far as possible.

  6. I myself as a student of K.V.CUT want to save the Rhinos .I think we should save our natural treasure, our one horned rhino which is mostly found in Assam. Nowadays the Rhinos are killed because of the people. If day by day the Rhino will be killed one day there will be no Rhino in the world, that’s why my opinion is that we should create some awareness on saving our Rhinoceros. Also we should make some laws for saving the Rhinos.I hope all the citizens of India should help to save our most expansible property ‘the Great one horned Indian Rhinoceros’.

  7. All over India one horned rhino is only found in Assam. Assam is also famous for one horned rhino. Rhino is Assam’s Pride! But nowadays people are destroying their own pride by killing them. Well rhino is a friendly animal. Tourists also come to Assam to visit the one horned rhino. If the number of rhinos decreased day by day then one day the rhino will become a ‘Extinct’ animal. Nowadays the rhino are becoming endangered. The product made by the rhino’s horn is the ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine’. From today itself let’s promise that , we will save the rhinos and save our pride!!

  8. As we have the right for living and the right for enjoying our lives , in the same way the animals also have the right for living and to enjoy their lives… so we should not destroy their lives! instead of that we should try as much as possible to save them. SAVE RHINO! SAVE THEIR LIVES!

  9. One-horned Rhinos, they are the pride of Assam as well as India, a culture that needs to be saved from the cruelty and selfishness of some shameless people who are willing to kill this beautiful creature for the sake of money. We are to give them love and care instead of taking away their lives. Their horn signifies them and we are cutting it apart, the most precious thing they have. Many people from outside India have a craze to see this rhinos and they feel we are lucky to have them here, in India and our people, instead of being proud they are taking away these rhinos’ lives. People should change their filthy minds and stop killing rhinos and let every life live peacefully.
    Thank you.

  11. One horned rhino, the pride of Assam which is not found anywhere else. I feel proud to live in Assam but as well as sad because day by day the population of rhinos are decreasing as they were killed by the poachers just to sell their horns and earn money. Now it is an endangered species which is on the verge of extinction. To protect them national parks and wildlife sanctuaries within biosphere reserves can be made just like Pachmari Biosphere Reserve in M.P. Assam without Rhinos is just like sweet without sugar so SAVE THE PRIDE OF ASSAM !

  12. All over the world, the One-horned Rhino is found only in Assam,India and Terai of Nepal, mostly in Assam in Kaziranga. Its the pride of Assam.Nowadays, the Rhinos are becoming extinct because the poachers and hunters hunt and kill them for their expensive horns, which contains keratin used to produce the Chineses traditional medicine. Most rhinos live in the tropical rainforests, which are geographically scattered and this hinders their population and reproduction.Rhinos also have very poor eyesight that makes them easy targets and they often collide with rocks and trees.
We should protest and have signature campaigns etc. then only we can also participate in conserving them.
    So,
    SAVE RHINOS
    SAVE ASSAM!!!

  13. My Topic Why and how to save rhinos?
We should save rhino because in all over India Assam is only a place were we find one horned rhino. It is the pride of Assam. one horn rhino are main attraction of Kaziranga national park. Many tourists from India and abroad visit Assam to see the one horned rhino. it not only develops our tourism but it is also helpful to generate employment for the unemployed youth of Assam at various levels.
The rhino is killed because of its horn. After the hunters kill the rhinos they take the horn from the rhinos body. then they make the Chinese medicine by the help of the horn, and then they sell it in a very big price. to save the rhinos we should be very strict against the hunters and pothers. When rhinos get scared of the hunters and pothers they come to the villages and the towns and then when the people get scarred of the rhinos they kill the rhinos. This is also a reason why rhinos are killed.
Rhinos are also important for us because it is a herbivores animal and it eat grass, therefore if we will kill the rhinos we will have dense jungles and then the tourists will not come there. For saving the rhinos the government should take actions. The hunters and pothers should get strict punishment for hunting rhinos.
Some reasons for saving rhinos are:
    1) Rhinos are critically endangered.
    2) Rhinos have been around for 40 million years ago.
    3) Rhinos attract the visitors and tourists.
Now these are the reasons why and how to save rhinos from hunters and pothers. At last I want to tell that

  15. “The one horned rhinoceros”, these are actually one of the most endangered species in earth, found in some parts of our nation i.e mostly in the north-east. It forms a characteristic of the Indian. These are very delicate animals and they don’t harm people. Having a single horn have sent him in a dangerous situation, that too because of our people. They have started to poach them for which there are only a 2500 rhinos left in India and Nepal.
We have these special animals so we should have the pride but the people that are unaware of them have been committing a big mistake. Therefore awareness should be created among people or no rhinos will survive. Once, they will disappear we will feel ashamed as the special species found only in our own region are all killed by these regional poachers. We should be happy to have both double and single horned rhinos in the world, but we should save all the species to differentiate between them. Save rhinos, don’t let them move away from the earth’s family.
“THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE, THINK ABOUT THE RHINOS”
THIS IS THE PRIDE NEITHER OF ASSAM NOR OF INDIA, IT IS THE PRIDE OF THE WORLD.

  16. The hunters are killing Rhino’s with a view to cut off the high valued horn which has a great price in black market — across the world price of one horn varies from Rs 40 , lakhs to Rs 90 lakhs.
It is important to mention that some other parts of rhino like nails, skin have very high price in Asian Traditional market. But all these beliefs are a myth. The fact is that no medicinal values are there in any parts of the Rhino’s organ.
The world’s 2/3rd population of Rhino’s are found only in Assam and the 1/3rd are scattered rest of India.
So it is oyr duty to protect our Rhinos from hunters or poachers.

  22. Rhino is the pride of Assam. The mammal is found in north-eastern India’s Assam and in protected areas in the Terai of Nepal, where populations are confined to the riverine grasslands in the foothills of the Himalayas.there are killed for there horns. The species is inherently at risk because over 70% of its population occurs at a single site, Kaziranga National Park. Any catastrophic event such as disease, civil disorder, poaching, or habitat loss would have a devastating impact on the Indian rhino’s status.people are taking their own pride only…in the last i want to say that ‘Save the Rhino,Save our own pride”.

  23. Rhino is mostly found in Assam. People too say that rhinos are seen in zoos in Assam and in Kaziranga National park. But in the other hand every day a rhino is getting killed due to its horn. The poachers kill the rhino and then take away the horn. Then they go and sell it for money. People are becoming mad for money; they don’t know that what they are doing for money. They are killing the animal then take the parts of the body which are rare it. Everyday some animals are getting killed by man. Slowly the rhinos will disappear. We are responsible for killing the animals, and destroying our nature. The horn is the life of the rhino. So please don’t kill rhinos. We are destroying our mother land just for money. The poachers also can do some other jobs for money, but don’t kill the rhinos and other animals.

We can see in news and newspapers that rhinos are killed every day by poachers, to save rhinos we should make the demand low of leather belt, shoes, jackets, hats. We can use normal things because how would we feel if someone will kill us ,take our skin and sell that by making things from that. As the sun disappears like that only rhinos are being disappeared day to day. So please try to save the rhinos.

  25. The Indian rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis), also called the greater one-horned rhinoceros and Indian one-horned rhinoceros, belongs to the family Rhinocerotidae. Listed as a vulnerable species, the large mammal is primarily found in north-eastern India’s Assam and in protected areas in the Terai of Nepal, where populations are confined to the riverine grasslands in the foothills of the Himalayas.
The Indian rhinoceros once ranged throughout the entire stretch of the Indo-Gangetic Plain, but excessive hunting reduced the natural habitat drastically. Today, more than 3,000 rhinos live in the wild.In 2014, 2,544 of which are found in India’s Assam alone, an increase by 27 percent since 2006, although in early 1900s, Assam had about 200 rhino only.
Indian rhinoceros are grazers. Their diets consist almost entirely of grasses, but they also eat leaves, branches of shrubs and trees, fruits, and submerged and floating aquatic plants. They feed in the mornings and evenings. They use their prehensile lips to grasp grass stems, bend the stem down, bite off the top, and then eat the grass. They tackle very tall grasses or saplings by walking over the plant, with legs on both sides and using the weight of their bodies to push the end of the plant down to the level of the mouth. Mothers also use this technique to make food edible for their calves. They drink for a minute or two at a time, often imbibing water filled with rhinoceros urine. In 1910, all rhino hunting in India became prohibited. In 1984, five rhinos were relocated to Dudhwa National Park — four from the fields outside the Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary and one from Goalpara.

The rhino are decresses because of pocher. In last I saydon’t kill them but save them.
